The Closest Legal Dispensary to Lubbock
Score 420 Clovis is about 107 miles from Lubbock, roughly an hour and a half up US-84 and just past the state line at Texico. We’re at 2905 N Prince Street, Unit D1, open 9am to 8pm every day [VERIFY hours], Mountain Time.
If you’ve never been to a dispensary, or never made the drive into New Mexico for one, this page covers it all: how to get here, what to bring, what the law says and what happens when you walk through the door.
Getting Here
From Lubbock, head northwest out of town on US-84. The highway runs across the flat, wide-open Llano Estacado, bypassing Shallowater and Littlefield on the way to Muleshoe, where US-70 joins the route. From Muleshoe it’s a straight shot to Farwell, the last Texas town before the border.
Farwell and Texico sit right up against each other, so the state line comes up fast. Once you’re in Texico, US-60/70/84 carries you about nine miles west into Clovis. [VERIFY: the turn onto Prince Street and final directions to the store.]
One thing that surprises first-timers: Clovis runs on Mountain Time, an hour behind Lubbock. Leave Lubbock at 9am and you’ll pull into Clovis around 9:30am local time. Our hours are Mountain Time, so you gain an hour on the way out and give it back on the way home.
Services can be spread out between towns, so top off your tank in Lubbock or Muleshoe before you go.

What You Need
A valid government photo ID showing you are 21 or over. A Texas driver’s license is fine, and so is a passport or state ID card. No medical card, no New Mexico residency, no paperwork.
New Mexico law allows adults to buy up to 2 ounces of flower, 16 grams of concentrate or 800mg of edibles per transaction.
Before You Drive Out
Cannabis is legal to buy and use in New Mexico for adults 21 and over. Taking it back across the line is against Texas and federal law, and we cannot advise beyond saying so.
Never drive under the influence. Edibles can take two hours or more to kick in, so plan your day around that and keep the driving and the consuming separate.
First Time?
You do not need to know what you want. Just say so at the counter… it is the most common thing anybody says.
Our budtenders will ask what kind of experience you’re looking for, how you’d like to consume and what you want to spend, then walk you through a few options. No pressure, no jargon and no wrong questions. Our advice for anyone new: start low and go slow, especially with edibles.
What We Carry
Flower, pre-rolls, infused pre-rolls, vapes and carts, disposables, edibles, concentrates, topicals and accessories, most of it from New Mexico growers and makers. Prices are some of the best around, and our daily deals rotate through the week.

Lubbock and Clovis
This drive has a history. In the 1950s, Lubbock’s own Buddy Holly made the same trip to record at Norman Petty’s studio in Clovis, where “That’ll Be the Day” and “Peggy Sue” were cut. The Norman and Vi Petty Rock & Roll Museum downtown tells that story, and it’s worth an hour.
Make a day of it with Hillcrest Park Zoo, the Clovis Depot Model Train Museum or the shops along Main Street. In winter, keep an eye on the fields around Muleshoe on the way back… the national wildlife refuge there draws thousands of sandhill cranes.
