If you shop with us over the next couple of weeks, you may notice a few things: a favorite product out of stock, an online menu that does not quite match the shelf, or a slightly slower checkout.

Here is why, in plain terms.

What is happening

Every licensed cannabis business in New Mexico, from growers to labs to dispensaries, is required to track its products in a state system. That system is changing.

New Mexico is retiring the old platform, BioTrack, and moving everyone onto a new one called NMS2S. The Cannabis Control Division has set the changeover for August 25 through September 4, 2026.

This is a statewide change. Every dispensary in New Mexico is going through it at the same time, and every one of us has the same short window to get it done.

What it means for you

All 14 Score420 locations stay open. Normal hours, normal service, all the way through.

Restocking is paused. This is the part you are most likely to notice. During the changeover, stores across New Mexico cannot receive new deliveries. What is on our shelves right now is largely what we will have until the new system is live. Popular items may sell out and will not be replaced right away.

Our online menu may run behind. While inventory moves between the two state systems, what is listed online may not match what is actually in the store. If you are making a special trip for something specific, call ahead and we will check for you.

Checkout may be slower around September 2 to 4. That is when stores switch over to the new system. We are planning for it, but a little patience that week would be appreciated.

Nothing changes on your end. Your purchases, your account, and your rewards all carry on exactly as before. This is a change to how the state tracks products, not to how you shop with us.

The rough timeline

The state has published a schedule and described it as tentative. Here is the shopper’s version:

**Late August into early September**  ·  No new deliveries arriving. Some products sell out. Menu may not match the shelf.

**September 1 to 2**  ·  The state moves dispensary inventory to the new system.

**September 4**  ·  The old system shuts down for good. Everything runs on NMS2S from here.

One honest note about supply

Restocking may take a little longer than the calendar suggests.

Cannabis has to be lab tested before it can be sold, and New Mexico’s testing labs are also paused during part of this window. Growers and manufacturers are on their own transition schedule too. So even once deliveries resume, it may take a bit for supply to fully normalize across the state.

We would rather tell you that up front than have you wonder why your usual product is still missing in the second week of September.

What we are doing about it

We have been preparing for this ahead of time: reconciling our inventory, making sure our records line up with the state’s before the cutoff, and working with our systems provider on the switch to NMS2S.

Our teams at every location know what is happening and can answer your questions at the counter. If something you want is out of stock, ask us. We can usually point you to a close alternative, or tell you when we expect it back.

What you can do

• Shop a little early. If there is something you rely on, pick it up before the end of August.
• Call ahead if you are driving out for something specific, especially in the first week of September.
• Ask our staff. They would rather help you find an alternative than have you leave empty handed.
• Be open to something new. Our budtenders know the menu well and can usually find you something close.
